Platform Trust & governance

Trust and governance by design

Persona Dynamics is built for contexts where teams need traceability, oversight and confidence in how outputs are being used. This isn't a feature added on top, it is how the system works.

Four principles that govern everything

These principles are not aspirational statements, they describe how Persona Dynamics works and the design decisions made to make the system appropriate for professional and decision-critical contexts.

Persona Dynamics builds its AI entities from the evidence you provide, not from general training data alone. This means outputs reflect your specific knowledge base, your research, your documents, your expertise. When you ask a question, the system draws on what you have told it, not on what a general-purpose model has learned from the internet. This is the foundation on which everything else rests.
Every response from the platform includes links to the source material it draws on. You can see which documents, sections or data points informed a particular output and go back to them directly. This makes it possible to evaluate the quality of a response and to decide whether the source is relevant, current and appropriate for the decision at hand. Black-box outputs are not appropriate where accountability matters.
The system is designed to support human judgement, not to replace it. Persona Dynamics gives decision-makers better access to the evidence and perspectives that exist within their organisation, but the decisions themselves remain with people. This is especially important in contexts where the stakes are high, where stakeholders need to be consulted, or where accountability cannot be delegated to an automated system.
Persona Dynamics is built for contexts where people think about what the AI is telling them, evaluate it against what they know, and then make a decision. It is not intended to produce outputs that are acted on without review. This is a deliberate design choice not a limitation. The system is most valuable when it is part of a thoughtful process, not when it is bypassing one.

Where it fits well, and where it doesn't

Being clear about what Persona Dynamics is appropriate for (and what it isn't) is part of how we approach trust and governance.

✓ Good fit for
  • Exploration and question-asking within a structured evidence base
  • Testing concepts and ideas against grounded audience or expert viewpoints
  • Aligning teams around shared evidence and shared understanding
  • Interpreting research and making it more accessible and usable
  • Supporting decisions where human judgement remains in the loop
  • Building institutional knowledge systems that can be interrogated
🚫 Not intended for
  • Unsupervised decision authority where outputs are acted on without human review
  • Situations where the quality of the source evidence cannot be assessed
  • Self-validating automation where the system is used to confirm its own outputs
  • High-stakes decisions where accountability requires a traceable human sign-off
  • Replacing primary research where direct participant engagement is required
  • Any context where synthetic outputs would misrepresent real people or populations

Trust features built into the platform

Source citations

Every response links back to the specific documents and passages that informed it. Nothing is presented as fact without a traceable source.

Controlled knowledge base

You decide what goes into the evidence base. The system only draws on what you have explicitly included and approved.

User access controls

Manage who can access, contribute to and interact with the knowledge base and AI entities within your organisation.

Audit trail

Track how the system has been used, what questions have been asked and what outputs have been produced, for review and governance purposes.

Confidence indicators

Where the evidence base is limited or where responses draw on a narrow set of sources, the system flags this clearly, rather than presenting uncertain outputs as definitive.

Organisational boundaries

Knowledge bases, personas and outputs are scoped to your organisation. Nothing from your evidence base is shared with or used in other deployments.
